When to go virtual?
With the exception of certain, exceedingly rare, situations (like a pandemic, for instance), the decision about whether to hold a virtual meeting requires a thorough understanding of the strengths and weakness of various methods of communication. During this module, participants are introduced to seven factors that can influence whether you move your meeting online, and what you need to watch out for if you ultimately do.

BMS
As a bio-pharma company, Bristol-Meyers Squibb must be able to communicate effectively with a wide variety of stakeholders, including public authorities. As part of our training sessions, we introduced employees to the elements of virtual meetings and presentations, and when the format is more effective than face-to-face communication. Combined with general instruction in how to improve presentation skills, the training resulted in the firm being able to navigate more smoothly in different forms of verbal communication.
