Kenn L. Hansen has a master degree in Rhetoric from University of Copenhagen with a master thesis on the persuasive possibilities of PowerPoint. As the founder of EPO, he has trained more than 10,000 people since 2005. Some might also remember Kenn from the Danish football arenas. He was a Superliga referee for 8 years, until he stopped in 2015 as Denmark’s highest ranking referee with awards as referee of the year in 2012 and 2014. Kenn uses his experience from top-level refereeing in his training and as a preferred speaker on conferences. He is furthermore the preferred choice as trainer in several of Denmark’s leading consultancies, with extensive experience in coaching top-level executives.
Christel Ladegaard holds an MSc in Communication and Leadership from Copenhagen Business School and she studied Marketing and Management at the Carlson School of Management in the United states. Christel has a background in the insurance industry and has for the last 10 years been teaching communication and sales in many of the biggest companies in Denmark. Christel has created measurable results with clients and she has trained over 1,000 executives, specialists, project managers and sales people to communicate more clearly in written and verbal communication.
Jacob Schjødt is educated from Rethoric in University of Copenhagen and is furthermore an award-winning stage director with an education from the Danish National School of Performing Arts. This unique combination of academia, rhetorical practice and deep insights in body language and theatrical techniques, creates the foundation for Jacob’s courses in verbal communication. He has more than 10 years experience as a trainer in presentation technique and PowerPoint, and he has trained a long range of companies and organisations together with this extensive theatre work on Østre Gasværk, Odense Teater and many others.
Pelle Nordhøj Kann is an educated actor from the National School of Performing arts at Aarhus Theater. He has performed and directed at the big and small stages throughout the country and has more than 10 years of experience as a theater manager.
As a teacher, Pelle’s diverse work ranges from a position as permanent teacher for The National Radio’s Ensembles, across the Conservatory of Music to the journalists at the Zetland Network. With years of experience in the spotlight and in the offices behind the stage, Pelle’s training is always focused on increasing the participants’ toolbox, and giving them practical experience through eye-to-eye communication. Training that will make the individual participant more effective in their daily practice.
Dorte Koch is presentation technique specialist and voice coach. Her educational background is from Central School of Speech and Drama in London and an MA from Roskilde University. She has 30 years experience in voice training and verbal communication skills training in the corporate world and she has taught speech, expression and voice at the Danish National School of Performing Arts for many years.
With her experience from the theatrical world, Dorte uses techniques and exercises, which has been developed to improve the speaker’s presence, connection to the audience and ability to get the message across. Dorte is also the author of the book “Find din stemme” (2010).
Jesper Vilstrup holds an MSc in Finance from CBS and he studied communication at the University of Oregon. Jesper has helped a many of the largest private and public organizations with internal and external communication for more than 20 years. A focus area has been consulting and training in connection with the development and delivery of presentations as part of leadership and sales development initiatives. As a former employee in banking and insurance as well as being an independent consultant and trainer, Jesper knows the challenges of creating effective communication from both an inside and outside perspective.
Anne Kristine Schwartzbach is originally an educated teacher with a speciality in anxiety and cognitive behavioural therapy. For more than 10 years, Anne have helped people with massive anxiety, and now she contributes on EPO’s courses with the treatment of stage fright. She has developed a groundbreaking method within virtual reality, where the participants get opportunity to train their presentations in a safe environment. With this unique combination of Anne’s long experience within cognitive therapy and virtual reality, the setting for optimum learning is excellent, especially for the participants, who battle with extra nervousness in front of clients or colleagues.
Caroline Stenderup Korch helps EPO clients assemble optimum training programmes. She also develops and quality assures course material and facilitation methods based on updated research within the communication field. Besides studying Rhetoric on University of Copenhagen, Caroline trains in presentation technique and other EPO courses.
Traditional courses sometimes have high satisfaction, but moderat effect.
This is why we developed EPO Academy, which is a platform that creates a 3 month learning experience for participants on our courses.
They will receive e-learning, videos from the trainers, presentations for inspiration and many other tools and techniques for download. And the really clever thing is, that all the material is tailored to the focus areas of the individual participant. The training course might show, for example, that you should improve your storyline, eye contact and PowerPoint slides. In this case, you will receive guidance on those specific areas.

PowerPoint presentations often end up being convenient notes for the speaker, crowded with text and data. On this course, you will learn how to convey your message effectively through PowerPoint with the use of simple tools and techniques. The course is built on top of the extensive research on the area of multimedia presentations, and it will enable you to make much more effective presentations. It is not a technical PowerPoint course. It focuses on effective communication through PowerPoint, and you will get concrete tools to create neat and good-looking slides for the benefit of your audience, as well as the ability to improve your colleagues’ presentations.
Presentation Technique With Impact
Whether you present ideas, sell products, describe projects or convey strategies, you need to make an impact and catch the attention of the audience. On the presentation technique course, you will get the necessary tools to get your message across in a convincing manner. The days are variations between input and practical, rhetorical training, and the presentations on stage will be recorded for the participants’ own subsequent self-reflection and learning. Since everyone is unique, this is not a one size fits all. The participants will receive personal coaching so that they realise their individual potential. The starting point is always what works well. When this is defined, the participants will find the energy and motivation to develop even further.
Effective facilitation of meetings, workshops or any form of training is crucial, when it comes to achieving results and ensuring you don’t waste the participants’ time. On this course, you will learn how to plan and run any facilitation format in an effective manner. The course will let you try out numerous methods of activation for your meetings or workshops, e.g. establishing the context, energizing the participants, evaluating, generating ideas etc. All of this applied to a case from your own context.
The need for virtual presentations – whether it is Skype, Teams, teleconferences etc. – is rapidly increasing. Knowing how to involve the participants, mastering virtual facilitation methods, applying different question types and many other topics will make your future virtual presentations so effective, that you can actually save a substantial amount of time on the session. Personal Coaching / Conference preparation
PowerPoint and presentation technique can be combined in a personal development program for an individual. Every year, we train a large number of managers and specialists in their presentation and communication skills. On a personal coaching program, our starting point is always your concrete presentations, which we rehearse until they are magnificent. The amount of training depends on the specific needs – in some cases we are part of an executive’s setup for years, and in other cases, we only participate in a one-off trial run before e.g. an important conference, which needs to be of TED quality.
